When Did You Join Kraasimages?
2017
Why Did You Decide to Join?
I decided to join Kraas because of the great reputation they’ve built since starting a few years ago. The work Kraas is doing to bring serious Caribbean photographers together and strengthen the level of excellent local output is admirable. I personally believe that unity is strength, so I’m honored to be a part of this team.”
What has your experience been like with Kraasimages?
“So far, it’s been welcoming and motivating. I’m new to the team so I anticipate lots more positive experiences being part of an excellent collective.”
What would you tell other creatives who are unsure about signing up?
“I’d tell them that working independently is great and has it’s benefits without a doubt, but joining a team of persons committed to expanding professional photography and its network has benefits that won’t come otherwise, like pushing your creative boundaries and increasing your visibility in ways that are outside of your typical zone. On another level, it’s good to build the voice and authentic presence of Caribbean talent on the Global scale through our own efforts.”
